Co-occurring Diagnoses in Children with Developmental Disabilities Part 2
In this presentation, a well rounded look into Co-occurring Diagnoses in Children with Developmental Disabilities is examined which serves as a way for Developmental Disability Professional across the field to further understand the intersectional complexities of mental health disorders and developmental disabilities. Participants will be introduced to the most common co- occurring conditions in children/adolescents they are serving, how symptoms present and how to improve service delivery to support their clients quality of life. Participants will leave with actionable items to implement in their daily practice.

- Identify key characteristics of the most common co-occurring mental health conditions amongst children/adolescents with developmental disabilities.
- Develop and apply strategies to improve service delivery in developmental disabilities service programs and settings.
