Krista Smith

Krista Smith is the Executive Director of RISE Services, Inc. in Oregon and is policy chair of the Oregon Council on Developmental Disabilities, and former Board President of Oregon Resource Association. With over 20 years in the I/DD field, she began her career as a Direct Support Professional and has held various roles within RISE and in education and mental health services. She holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Willamette University.

Krista lives in Turner, OR with her husband and two daughters. She values collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning, with strengths in crisis management, strategic planning, advocacy, and leadership development.
