Setting Up NET Sessions for Success Part 1
When working with young children in behavioral therapy, natural environment teaching (NET) can be a daunting tasks for some therapist. When a child is engaged and having fun, a therapist is able to accomplish more teaching during the session. The participants will be shown videos of sessions and given session goals to see how working within the natural environment allows the therapist to increase their teaching, while keeping their child engaged in learning. The participants will work through a mock session schedule and case studies to be able to return with the tools to effectively implement these strategies within their sessions.
