As the former in-house attorney for a major health system, Lisa has a deep understanding of the regulatory, compliance, administrative, and litigation issues her clients may face. She provides counsel on federal and state healthcare laws and regulations, including Stark, Anti-Kickback, Civil Monetary Penalties, ADA, ACA, HIPAA, and HITECH. Lisa works with clients, including hospitals and health systems, physicians, administrators, and business partners to implement effective strategies for legal compliance, risk mitigation, efficient workflows, and the maintenance of business objectives.
Prior to earning her J.D., Lisa worked in healthcare and studied the biological sciences. This experience shapes and informs her practice, and reflects her commitment to finding effective and efficient solutions to healthcare law challenges.
