Connie is currently the President/CEO of Icon Credit Union, founded in Boise, ID, in 1952 as Idahy FCU. Connie was recently selected to serve the Community Depository Financial Institution Advisory Council for the Twelfth District of the Federal Reserve Bank. Connie has led Icon Credit Union to a Top 200 of the Healthiest Credit Unions in the nation for the past several years. Connie was honored as one of Idaho’s six CEO’s of Influence in 2014 by the Idaho Business Review and was named a recipient of the 2017 Excellence in Finance by the IBR.
In 2017, Connie was named Idaho’s Credit Union Advocate of the Year. She has a BBA in Accountancy from Boise State University and a graduate level certification from Western CUNA Management School. She serves on many boards and committees, including the Girl Scouts, Junior Achievement, Idaho Women in Leadership, The Global Women’s Leadership Network, Celebrate Recovery, and many more. She has received numerous prestigious awards from local nonprofits for her ability to make an impact and her extensive service, including the most recent highest award from Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council this year, the Diana Lawson Award.
