Alana Brunner

LCPC, NCC, CCMHC

Alana earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology & Sociology from The College of Idaho in 2003 and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Boise State University in 2008.

She is endorsed as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, the highest level of independent counseling licensure in Idaho. Additionally, she is both a National Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Alana maintains a private practice in Boise, Idaho working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has specialized experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings where a variety of issues are addressed. In addition to her practice, she serves as an Adjunct Professor for the Counselor Education Department at Boise State University and work as a Psychiatric Clinician in the Emergency Department at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

Alana has a solid and grounded experience helping those with chronic mental health issues as well as those struggling with situational anxiety and/or depression.

She is an active member of both the American Counseling Association and the Idaho Mental Health Counselor’s Association.
