Regulation and Relationships: Improving Outcomes Using an OT Lens
Occupational therapists utilize a person-centered, holistic approach to help individuals successfully participate in life. Individuals are best able to participate in daily occupations, the things they need to do and want to do, when individual needs and strengths are understood and supported. Learning and successful participation in life is supported by a regulated nervous system, which can be impacted by supporting sensory preferences and through nurturing relationships. This session will benefit those who would like to explore the impact of supporting regulation and nurturing relationships to improve client outcomes.
