When the stakes are high, we often say the wrong things, but with good meaning and intentions. This leaves all parties feeling stuck and frustrated. Join us as we discuss how these high stakes situations are affecting our relationships and how to navigate them in a way that leaves all parties feeling heard, supported, and on our way to a mutually beneficial solution. We will learn practical, easy to use skills that will build our relationships and increase our confidence in communication, especially in difficult situations.

Learning Objectives:

1. Attendees will learn where we are often stuck in our communication with others, and how that is affecting our work and relationships.
2. Attendees will learn how our emotions affect us and often keep us from having important conversations.  We will learn how to adjust our mindset and get to a place where we are able to have a high stakes conversation.
3. Attendees will learn the skills to have an important conversation where all parties leave feeling heard, supported, and on their way to a mutually beneficial solution.
