Emotions at Work: Why Should We Care? (Part 1)

October 25, 2018    12:45  -  2:00

This training provides experiences and information designed to help supervisors and employees improve their own wellness initiatives (both formal and informal) and to deal more effectively with the effects of emotions at work.

It covers issues of emotional labor and emotional work, and explores how those challenges impact the emotional well being of employees. We’ll talk about the long-term impact of these types of stressors on an individual employee and their team, including burnout and turnover, as well as strategies for an individual, team, and company to help them reduce the negative impacts of emotions at work.

This is a two session presentation.
