Know The Code – An Exploration of the NEW 2026 NADSP Code of Ethics

In 2025 the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals embarked on a process to review, repurpose and refine the Code of Ethics. The original Code was published in 2001 and for a quarter of a century served as the compass for ethical direct support practice. Over the course of the year 2025 we facilitated focus groups, conducted interviews and validated the new iteration of the NADSP Code of Ethics. Come to this session and learn what has changed and how to utilize the only Code of Ethics for direct support in North America.
