The Building Bridges award recognizes a candidate that understands the value of inclusiveness in a community and works to enhance the individual perspectives and contributions of all community members.
OPENING DOORS AWARD
The Opening Doors award recognizes a candidate who has increased opportunities for individuals with disabilities to access their communities. This inclusiveness fosters a sense of belonging and being value for who we are.
PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS AWARD
Working together to realize shared goals is the heart of the Plays Well with Others award. It recognizes a candidate who has shown outstanding leadership by bringing together community partners to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
This award honors an individual at or nearing the end of a career for his or her lifetime contribution to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities. The recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award embraces the values of inclusion, collaboration and advocacy.

ALISON NOBLE
Ms. Noble has been a visual art instructor at Skyline High School since 2007. As an art educator, Ms. Noble encourages all her students, no matter their disability, to participate in all levels of the studio processes.
CHAD BITNER
Chad has opened his heart & his stores for several individuals with disabilities in the Emmett and Fruitland community.Chad trains his employees for growth and supports them with any needs they may have as they learn to work in a fast-paced industry.
ALLEN NIKSICH
Allen “Chief” works as the school liaison officer for Mountain Home Air Force Base.Every year Chief invites school personnel and others in the community to take part in a 2-day training focused on the life and needs of a military child
WENDY CAROLL, GORDON GRAFF & PAMELA MILBURN
Wendy created this 501(c) to provide opportunities for adult actors who have physical and developmental disabilities in North Idaho to act in a fully staged, high production quality presentation of popular musicals. Gordon built partnerships across multiple state-wide systems to increase opportunities for job seekers with disabilities. Pamela exceeds at empowering families and advocates.

HP Boise DisAbility Business Impact Network
The HP Boise DisAbility Business Impact Network is an HP employee group made up of individuals seeking to increase disability awareness and inclusivity within the HP community. This group is at the forefront of modeling how businesses can foster awareness and inclusion.
ALEX KNOLL
Alex is the inventor of Ability App; this free app helps people with disabilities navigate public spaces by providing information about wheelchair ramps, disabled parking, braille menus, employment opportunities and much more.
GRISELDA CAMACHO
Griselda is the organizer of the only Spanish Disability Conference in Idaho. Her mission is to work with and support Latino families that have loved ones with developmental disabilities.
DR. TIMOTHY LEAVELL
Over the past 28 years Dr. Timothy Leavell’s service demonstrates a belief that individuals with disabilities deserve to be included as equal participants and teammates in activities and community events. Dr. Leavell strives to practice advocacy and collaboration in everything he does.
