Thurs. October 5 &  Friday October 6th, 2017
Boise State University, Boise Idaho

The Idaho Partnerships Conference on Human Services is the largest regional conference providing quality training to human service professionals, parents, self advocates and community members who serve and support people with disabilities and their families. Agencies, organizations and advocacy groups from across the Northwest collaborate to bring top-level national speakers to the region. We have provided these annual conferences since 1996.

Over 800 individuals were awed by our 2016 opening keynote speaker Temple Grandin. We recognized 17 nominees  from across Idaho for the Commitment to Community Awards, honoring three accomplished individuals and one amazing organization for their efforts to open doors, build bridges, collaborate with others or provide a lifetime of service to improve the lives and community access for individuals with disabilities.

In 2017 we head into our 2nd year partnering with Boise State University Early and Special Education Department, and look forward to developing a robust program that will help human services professionals, families and self advocates climb to the next level in achieving their goals.

Topics covered include:

  • Autism Supports
  • Improved Techniques in Behavioral Health
  • Development of Creative Therapy Skills
  • Leadership Training and Professional Growth
  • Greater Understanding of Disabilities
  • Improved Employment for Individuals with Disabilities
