Andrea Recla

Andrea Recla, LPC (ID), LPC-Intern (OR), NCC is a mental health counselor and crisis worker for Lifeways in Ontario, Oregon. She has been providing counseling and crisis services within her community for the past 2 ½ years. Before that she was a fiscal manager for mental health agency and spent time working directly with children with disabilities. Andrea graduated with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2019 and is currently seeking licensure in the state of Idaho and Oregon. Andrea has experience working with a wide variety of mental illness including depression/anxiety, trauma/PTSD, co-occurring disorders, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and personality disorders.

In addition to being a counselor, Andrea is a wife and mother of two beautiful children whom she loves dearly and has lived in the Treasure Valley for over 15 years. She has a passion for volunteer work and loves giving back to her community. She runs a LGBTQ+ processing group and is always invested in furthering her education. She enjoys spending time with family, photography, listening to true crime podcasts, and anything outdoorsy during the spring/summer months. She loves to empower others to live their best lives by recognizing one’s strengths, practicing good self-care, and finding love and acceptance for oneself.
