2016 Scholarships

The Idaho Partnerships Conference on Human Services is happy to announce that several community groups are generously offering scholarship assistance to those who qualify to attend this year’s conference. Each group has specific qualifications for who can apply so read the instructions carefully.

Idaho Caregive AllianceThe Idaho Caregiver Alliance is providing scholarships of $100 each for 10 unpaid caregivers to help them attend the conference.  The scholarship application form is attached and we encourage you to apply.  Deadline for the applications is August 1 so applicants will have time to register for the conference before the deadline of September 1.  If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be responsible for the balance of the registration costs.

The scholarships will be based on the content of the application with an emphasis on caregivers across the lifespan and across the state.

Direct any questions about the scholarship to Dr. Sarah Toevs with the Idaho Caregiver Alliance at stoevs@boisestate.edu.

IPUL2013

Idaho Parents Unlimited is a statewide organization which houses the Idaho Parent Training and Information Center, the Family to Family Health Information Center, Idaho Family Voices, and VSA Idaho, the State Organization on Arts and Disability.

We ensure that parents of children ages birth to 26 years with disabilities receive training and information on their rights, responsibilities, and protections under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as well as health information, policies, and health systems in order to develop the skills necessary to cooperatively and effectively participate in planning and decision-making relating to early intervention, educational, health, and transitional services.

We are fortunate to be able to provide scholarship funding to parents each year to allow them to access greater information and resources by attending local, regional, or national conferences that are relevant to them.
